What they take the photos of is mostly building photos. They take their there photos between the morning and later afternoon because the sun is always good then and it is brilliant for pictures. They don't ever edit there photos on photoshop because they want to make it realistic. There photos are really popular they represent Liverpool and different cities.
Striking photographs taken by McCoy and Wynne.
I really like McCoy and Wynne photos because they have used a lot of different ways to take there photos, some photos are landscape what gets all of the building in it. Also they used architecture I really like the way they take their photos in theses kind of way they get loads of detail in the photo and what I also like is the angles and the lighting of the images.
Photo Analysis
This is one of many photos of McCoy and Wynne photos. In this picture they have got loads of building in one image. It is very good graphics and they use a lens to make the building straight using a fish eye camera. I wish to get one of my pictures like this because this is such a high level photo of the Docks.
Research: The work of Dave Wood
Dave Wood is a photographer who takes photos in Liverpool and Manchester. He is a street and Architectural photographer. Overall I really like his photographic work and the way he takes his pictures. He uses a professional camera to take his photos. He uses bright colours to take his photos. He mostly takes his photos of the waterfront. Overall I would take ideas of his photos and hope to use his ideas in my own pictures.
Where we are going to take are photos
I am going to take my own pictures in the Liverpool Waterfront, the waterfront is full of building like the pier head. The pier head is where the Liverpool liver building is, it is one of the best places to take photos. Also you can take pictures of the Royal Albert Dock building this is were lots of historic and very good places to take picture, where the boats are and there are resturants and there is a river in the middle of it all.
My own photographic work
These are some of my best images but in different ways to display them. Not to make the display boring it has made it more interesting and fun to look at and it is different and not the same also you get more than one image into it so it makes it better than you thought.
Three of my best image
Exploring with Black and White
On these photos I change them into black and white. On the first two pictures I was focusing on the lines on the stairs by the museum, I like theses images very much and I wish I could I could go back and take more of theses because they are very nice and good for photos. Also I take loads of photos of the building mostly the liver building because I think the building photos are very nice and when you edit on them they turn out amazing.
Drawing into my photos
In this section I took my photos and I drawed into the photos. Before the images was more like a boring and plain but when I draw into them it made them more of a cartoon version of an image what you might find in a newspaper or a shop. It really made the image come to life and made it more exiting. It made the image stand out more and made it better in my opinion.
The photos below I turned them into black and white, instead of the normal colour. The image of the black and white images what I turned into are very nice to look at. It is a very simple edit but I like the way it turned out in the end. And I could improve it by turning the hue and saturation up or turn up the colours.
Exploring with Hue Saturation
I really like theses edits with Hue and Saturation.I like theses because the colour looks like a marble colour instead of the normally colour. Also it looks like a election colour this makes the image really nice. On one of the images I used the fish eye camera to take one of the photos this makes the image wider so you can fit more building in one image and you can put more detail in the image what makes it really nice but it does have a unusual effect to the photo as well it makes it more stretched out, but it is a nice detail to add in. On some of the photos I have brighten or darken the colour to get that glowfly effect.
